Devonstone Cotton Solids, available in a range of colours, are a plain cotton fabric valued for its smooth handle, reliable colour and everyday versatility. A good alternative to Tilda cotton solids.

100% cotton | 110cm wide

1 unit = 25cm of width of fabric. 2 units = 50cm, 3 units = 75cm and so on. 2 or more units are cut as a continuous length.

Suggested uses: Perfect as a blender or feature fabric, it’s ideal for quilting, patchwork, linings and craft projects where a clean, consistent solid is needed. It can also be used in dressmaking where structure or simplicity are required, such as for aprons, A-line skirts, simple tunics, shirt-dresses etc. 

Care Instructions: Prewash before sewing to avoid shrinkage and bleeding in finished products. Wash on a cool cycle with mild detergent. Line dry or low-heat tumble dry. Heat may exacerbate shrinkage. For high contrast colours in the same wash (on a finished quilt for example), stick to cool water and line dry immediately.
